Adaptable Media Release

This year, our media initiatives will focus on celebrating 15 years of closing the recycling loop, a record 13,750 printer cartridges every working day in the last year. We're also excited to introduce TonerPlasTM  where waste toner has joined soft plastics collected by REDcycle and stockpiled glass in a new road surface that lasts up to 65% longer than traditional asphalt. One kilometre of the new asphalt uses waste toner from 12,500 cartridges! The first road using this new technology was laid by Hume City Council on May 29th with more to follow. This is in addition to existing recycled products like pens, TonerPaveTM , eWoodTM garden beds and flooring.

This adaptable media release could also be used as a newsletter story.
