    A Food Organics collection is available for units who share their garbage bins. Council provides kitchen benchtop bins and compostable bags (delivered every year) or phone 9367 9222 at other times. Bags can also be purchased at Council libraries. Please do not use ordinary plastic bags as these do not break down at the processing facility. Garden organics collection Avoid the use of Plastic Bags. Avoid placing grass in the bottom of bins to prevent sticking. Consider using a compost bin for garden prunings and/or a wormfarm / Bokashi bucket for kitchen organics eg food scraps. Available at the Citizen Services Centre T:9367 9222.
