Recycling Tips
Plastic bottle lids should be placed in your general waste bin as they are too small to recycle through the recycling bin. They can also be drop them at our Administration Office, Darius Wells Library & Resource Centre, Zone Youth Space or Kwinana Recquatic and they will be recovered through the Envision Hands program. All jar lids should go into your Recycling bin. Jar lids should be removed from the jar. Metal lids can be placed in the recycling bin, either loose or in a steel can. Residents can drop off empty aerosols to our Administration building or Depot. Aerosol cans can also be recycled through the Household Hazardous Waste Program and the closest collection points are located at Henderson Waste Recovery Park or Millar Road Landfill and Recycling Facility. There is no cost to drop them at any facility.
