Each financial year, the City of Gosnells provides three residential bulk waste verge collections. These consist of one general junk collection and two green waste collections. As part of an ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability, the City is no longer producing and delivering residential bulk waste verge collection flyers to each household to notify ratepayers and residents about bulk verge collection dates. You can find your verge collection dates at www.gosnells.wa.gov.au/waste or contact Waste Services on 9492 0111, or if you are a property owner the dates are printed on your Rate Notice. The bulk waste collection dates will continue to be shown on the Rate Notice, however to meet the needs of both ratepayers and residents, the City now sends a Waste and Recycling Guide to all households. Please keep this guide handy. Additional copies can be downloaded from the City’s website at www.gosnells.wa.gov.au/waste or by calling Waste Services on 9492 0111. Please note that changes to collection area boundaries are carried out each financial year due to the growth in residential housing. The City needs and relies on your cooperation to keep the City tidy during bulk waste verge collections. Please only place items on the verge of your property 7 days prior to your area's scheduled start date. Remember that littering or illegal dumping penalties apply for early placement of bulk waste on verges or failure to comply with collection guidelines.
