Within the Resource Recovery Centre is the new CRC. As well as the usual paper and cardboard the following are now accepted for free recycling:• Comingled recyclables (plastics, glass, paper, cardboard, aluminium, tins) • Soft plastics (bags, film, bubble wrap) • Batteries (household, car, technology) • Oils (motor and vegetable – cooking) • Paints (oil and water based) • X-rays • Polystyrene foam (compacted at the RRC prior to recycling) • Smoke alarms • Gas containers (bottles, cylinders) • Mobile phones • E-waste (TV’s and computers) • Scrap metals Recyclables with a charge • Organics • Tyres • White goods • Mattresses Non-recyclables - charged • General waste • Unsorted wastePlease contact the centre for details
