Council Recycling/Waste Notice Board - Wagait Shire
Council provides a weekly rubbish collection and rubbish is transported to the Shoal Bay Waste Facility in Darwin. There is no longer a general waste tip - residents must use the wheelie bins provided. The Council does not collect recyclables. It is residents' responsibility to dispose of chemical/paint drums. The Council hosts a hard waste collection area on its premises which is open between 3 & 6pm on weekends (excluding public holidays). A green waste area is also provided at the rear of Cloppenburg Park.
