Council encourages separation of greenwaste materials such as branches, garden clippings and items like timber pallets so that they can be stockpiled ready for mulching. The more clean rubbish free waste we receive at the landfill, the more mulch that can be produced. Council offers the mulch to residents free of charge, all you need to do is bring in your ute or trailer and a shovel.Visit the Emerald transfer station or the Blackwater landfill for your free load today!With the cooperation of residents, Council anticpates to extend this service to other regional townships in the near future.
