MobileMuster has teamed up with Storage King and ECOACTIV to provide a responsible recycling option for mobile phone (and their accessories) as well as other small electronics, many of which aren't included in free collections that operate under the National TV and Computer Recycling Scheme.

Under the program households, school or workplaces can purchase an E-Waste Recycling Box from participating Storage King locations for just $3.50. Once the box is filled with the accepted items, it is returned to Storage King locations, from where it is sent for recycling to high ethical and environmental standards.

Over 90% of the materials in electronic items can be recycled. Any information or data stored on items is securely destroyed during the recycling process. Actor Gyton Grantley, from Underbelly and House Husbands is the MobileMuster ambassador for the program. Watch as he explains the program including how to pack the box and what happens with different materials.
