Recycling Tips

Rinse all food containers.

All lids must be removed from original containers. Plastic lids are to be disposed of in the waste bin as they can cause prolems with the processing plant. Steel lids can be placed in a steel can and crushed to contain them and then placed into the recycling bin.

Tie knotts into plastic bags to avoid them blowing away. Dispose of them in your waste bin. Bags can also be recycled at South Coast Bottle & Can Co. at the Goolwa Waste & Recycling Depot.
