Below is more information from your local Council to help you further reduce your waste and impact on our environment.
Polystyrene Packaging (expanded polystyrene) can be dropped off at Launceston Recycling Centre [no charge] to be recycled. CANNOT be placed in kerbside recycling bin. We have a new Recycle Hub at the Town Hall Customer Service centre. Here we can collect: batteries, oral care products, CD's & DVD's, mobile phones, printer cartridges, bread tags, spectacles & sunglasses, x-rays, small e-waste & aluminium Nespresso coffee pods.
