  • If it GROWS in IT GOES! All food scraps including meat, bone, bread, baked goods and dairy are accepted in the kerbside green organics bin.
  • Wrap lightly in newspaper or a COMPOSTABLE bag available from Council.
  • Compostable bags (made of corn starch) are available from Council offices. All food scraps (including meat, bone, bread/baked goods, dairy, vegetable and fruit peel can be contained in compostable bags and disposed of in the green organics bins.
  • Other Materials Not Accepted
  • SOFT plastic - shopping bags, freezer and zip lock are NOT RECYCLABLE.

  • Recycling Tips

    Please segregate your waste prior to entering facilities. Keep segregated waste free from contaminants - this will attrack lower fees.
