Events & Notices

Port Adelaide Enfield supplies residential premises with a kitchen caddy and compostable bags to make it easy to recycle food scraps in the green lid bin. Approximately 40% of household waste is food scraps, in landfill food produces greenhouse gas (methane). Food scraps are placed into the kitchen caddy lined with a compostable bag. Every 2 - 3 days tie the bag put in the green lid bin. 150 compostable bags are delivered in March/April each year. An additional roll of 150 bags can be purchased by calling the Waste Line on 1800 777 844 cost $10.00 including GST and delivery. If a kitchen caddy is required, please complete and submit the application form.
