Events & Notices

Free mulch for residents

MulchFree mulch is available for residents to collect up to 2 cubic metres per visit. Mulch is available for sale to residents (for additional mulch over 2 cubic metres) and to the general public including commercial operators at most of Council's waste facilities, subject to availability (see fees & charges). Mechanical mulch loading is available at: * Bunya, Caboolture and Dakabin waste facilities * Saturday and Sundays: 9.00am - 12.00noon (fees apply per load). Council receives approximately 60,000 tonnes of greenwaste each year, and this is mulched and reused at the waste facilities, on Council gardens, in parks and public spaces, plus made available to residents and the general public.
