On 1 July 2007 a new garbage and recycling system was introduced in Eacham Shire. All residents in the collection area now recieve a kerbside garbage and recycling service. Garbage should be placed in your 140L bin with the red lid. Recycling should be placed in your 240L bin with the yellow lid. Recycling drop-off is currently available at the Malanda, Yungaburra & Millaa Millaa Transfer Stations.
