Most cable recyclers recover less than half of what's in a cable. They strip out the copper and send the insulation to landfill.
JR Hammer recovers more than 90% of every cable we process, and we're heading toward 95%. The copper and other metals go back into the supply chain. The PVC goes back into production as concrete and cement products. With CSIRO and RMIT, we're developing world-first technology to turn recovered PVC back into near-new plastic.
