About
Bower Reuse & Repair Centres is an environmental charity committed to reducing the amount of waste sent to landfill. The Bower collects good quality timber household furniture, general household items, bikes, electrical appliances and building materials. Our collection service is free for 21 LGAs within the Greater Sydney region and can be provided for a low-cost fee to LGAs outside the areas we operate. The items we collect are onsold to members of the community at affordable prices or donated to family violence survivors and asylum seekers through our House To Home Program.
How to BookWe highly recommend you access the Web Booking Tool via our website to register your items for collection. Our collections team will come back to you in due course.Our Marrickville shopfront accepts donations between 10am-5pm Tue-Fri, 10am-3pm Sat and 10am-3.30pm Sun. Please refer to our website for an up to date list of items currently accepted by The Bower.

Additional information: If Bower is unable to accept items at anytime, we are able to offer a referral to an enterprise that will be able to provide a solution for waste or recycling issues. Please check our website to see an updated list of goods that we can accept as this can change periodically.
