FROM BUNDLES TO BINS
From February 2007, Council will no longer manually collect green waste bundles.Branches that would usually go in the bundled waste collection should be placed in a dedicated green waste bin that will be collected fortnightly on the same day as the garbage and recycling collection.
Council will also provide a free green waste disposal service on Sundays from 8am to 4pm at the Riversdale Depot. This service is only available for residents who provide proof of identity and for quantities of green waste in trailers of dimesioons up to 6' x 4' (1.8m x 1.2m), or similar sized receptables (including car boots). Commercial providers, non-residents or larger trailers will be charged a disposal fee.
