  • Remove all lids Bigger than a business card they can go into the recycling bin other wise in your general waste bin.

  • Recycling Tips

    Place all recycling into the recycling bin clean and loose. If in doubt leave it out. Broken glass, such as drinking glasses can be placed in the recycling bin. No pyrex bakeware. Take lids off plastic bottles and place in the rubbish bin or take to a special drop-off. No meat trays. Empty aerosol cans can be dropped off at the Armadale Landfill and Recycling Facility HHW (Household Hazardous Waste) facility.

    *The City is phasing in red lids (from dark green) for rubbish bins, to align with the Australian Standard for bin lid colours. The charcoal body of the bin has been introduced as they are made of up to 30% recycling plastic.
