Events & Notices

The Merri-bek City Council does not have a landfill site (rubbish tip or dump). There is a privately owned transfer station in Brunswick East and other transfer stations in nearby municipalities. Recycling centres, also referred to as resource recovery centres or transfer stations, are places that you can drop off a range of items, including concrete and timber waste, metal, batteries and chemicals.
