Events & Notices

A Lions Club recycling depot is located on Diorite Street in Westonia, adjacent to the sports oval. Newspapers, number one plastics, number two plastics and aluminum cans can be left at the depot for recycling. Council currently provide a limited drop-off recycling facility service and a waste oil collection facility for local residents of the District. More information is provided about these services in this web page. While Council has considered the introduction of kerbside recycling within the Westonia townsite over the past 3-4 years, unfortunately it has not been introduced as yet. Local residents who support the introduction should contact their local Councillors or the Westonia Shire Office on (08) 9046 7063 to state their support for this service.
